Classic extensions generally last through your natural lash growth cycle, about six to eight weeks. To keep a full, polished look we recommend refill appointments every two to three weeks; individual retention depends on your lash care and natural shedding pattern.
When applied by certified technicians using proper isolation and bond, classic extensions do not cause long-term damage. Avoid picking, rubbing, and oil-based products; regular refills and gentle care preserve both extensions and natural lashes.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes; avoid mascara, waterproof formulas, and oily skincare around the eye area. If you wear contact lenses, bring a case; arrive without lash curlers. This ensures a smooth, efficient application and optimal bond.
We generally recommend skipping mascara to preserve the bond and natural look. If desired, use a water-based, extension-safe mascara on the tips only. Avoid waterproof mascaras and heavy formulas which can clump, weigh lashes, and reduce retention.
A full classic set typically takes 60 to 90 minutes, depending on lash density and desired length. Fills and touch-ups are shorter, usually 30 to 45 minutes. We schedule consultations to determine the best timing for your individual needs.
Avoid water, steam, and heavy sweating for the first 24–48 hours to allow adhesive to set. Clean lashes gently with a lash-safe cleanser, brush daily with a spoolie, and avoid oil-based products to prolong retention.
